ISACA® strives to provide continuous value to members by serving as a beacon of knowledge for the IT community. Electing a strong Board of Directors to govern is an important part of that effort. Nominations for the 2021-2022 ISACA Board of Directors are now open until 31 January 2021, when all candidate materials must be submitted.
The 2021-2022 Board of Directors will be installed in June 2021 for a term of 1 year. The objective of the board is to use business judgment to act in the best interests of the organization on behalf of ISACA members. The board is responsible for governance, control and oversight in addition to participation in preparing and approving ISACA’s strategic plan.
To be eligible to become a board director, nominees must be members of ISACA or be willing to join ISACA if selected to serve. Board directors will be expected to attend 3 in-person meetings and 4 teleconferences throughout the year of service. Additionally, board directors should plan to spend approximately 15 hours per month on board-related activities. These are commitments that should be considered prior to submitting a nomination.
Strong nominations are those that provide specific examples of how the nominee has exemplified leadership attributes and/or how they are expected to contribute to ISACA's global organization. To nominate yourself or another individual, visit the ISACA Board Nominations page of the ISACA website.
